South Dakota scenery

Well, the ear plugs worked last night. But the bright flashes woke me at 2:00 am. There was thunder and lightning like I haven't seen in a long time. I spent a half hour in my car before it moved on and I went back to the tent.

I just LOVE the scenery out here. These pictures don't do it justice, but it is absolutely beautiful.


The first three taken from the Lewis and Clark Overlook. In first photo, if you go straight up from the 06 in
the date, to the water, that is where my tent is located. LOL
