For those without Facebook

Just thought I'd pass on a few things for those of you that don't have Facebook and missed the posts there.
Monday morning I got up, showered and did a little exploring in the town of Worland. Bought some fishing lures that were recommended for trout in a reservoir about 60 miles from here that I may head to tomorrow.
My plan was to go to the town of Thermopolis on Wednesday and enjoy the natural hot springs that are there. Management at the campground decided Monday afternoon to replace the water heaters in the shower rooms. By Monday evening they had them both removed, and that was as far as they got. As of this evening, the doors to the men's and women's bathrooms and showers are still padlocked with a note saying "Closed for repairs". So it looks like at least another day of trips to town when nature calls. Good thing McDonalds and a gas station are open all night.
Yesterday it was 104 degrees, and it didn't take much to make a person sweat, even if it is a "dry heat". Last evening I used a roll of blue shop towels and 4 bottles of my drinking water to wash off good enough that I could stand myself. Today about 11:30, that rain that has followed me this whole trip, caught up with me. It rained for about 6 hours, and at times came down pretty hard. Worland is a desert in the "bowl" between mountains at around 4500 ft., and a lady at the diner I went to today said this was the first rain in at
least three weeks. If I hang around for a while, this place may just turn green. More pictures and more blog after I visit the hot springs and/or go fishing. Having a good time despite the inconveniences, although I did complain to sub management today. We'll see if it does any good.
