Bighorn National Forest 8-15-2013

I'm in love with the west.
This was crossing in to Wyoming from South Dakota.

I missed the sign entering, as there was no place to pull over,
so I got this one a little later.

Pictures don't do this place justice, well at least mine don't,
someone else would be able to do better.

I can  only try to imagine what it was like crossing this
land 100 years ago. But it is beautiful.

My coolant was at 219 degrees when I reached this spot,
and the temperature outside was 67. If I had been in shorts
and tank top like the day before, it would have been nippy.

I walked around for about half an hour letting my car cool
down. I'm really pleased with it pulling an overloaded
trailer to this altitude, although I did have my doubts a few
times.

Caught this out of the corner of my eye as I was going around a
VERY sharp turn. I had to pull off, walk back about a quarter
mile and get a picture.

Look to the right of that tall pine in the center.

Tell me it wouldn't be the greatest thing to have that cabin
at the top of the lake!!
